RFID Cards and Readers
RFID stands for Radio Frequency Identification. It detects an object using radio waves. RFID cards and readers contain information that is stored in their memory. The tag might be carried by a person or an animal, mostly a dog or it can be attached to an object. The RFID system consists of a reader, an antenna to send out radio signals, and a tag that is used to return the signal with information.
The RFID cards and readers are used in libraries, vehicles, entrances, retail stores for monitoring inventory, by the logistics department, and during transportation.
